Subject: PLCB as Licensed Lottery Retailer
 
In the near future, I will be introducing legislation that will allow the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) to become a licensed lottery retailer, which will enable the State Stores to sell lottery tickets.

Under this legislation, PLCB and the Department of Revenue will jointly have the ability to determine the amount of money they will pay the holder of a winning ticket. All proceeds that are retained by PLCB as compensation for the sale of tickets, including incentive awards or bonuses, will be deposited in the State Stores Fund.
