Subject: Co-sponsorship: slaughter or sale of cats and dogs for human consumption
 
The discovery of illegal slaughterhouses in basements, garages and so forth are infrequent but disturbing. Perhaps more disturbing is the knowledge slaughtering or selling dogs and cats for human consumption is not illegal in Pennsylvania. I will be introducing HB 1750 before we return to session to correct this unfortunate gap.
